ST Series Standard Features

  • STR-16: 16" w x 9" t x 24" l, 1/2" Coated Rollers.
  • Console units with heavy gauge steel body and welded tubular steel frame and base.
  • Chamber temperature is thermostatically controlled through an electronic time proportional temperature controller guaranteeing maximum temperature variation in the shrink chamber of no more than 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Variable speed conveyor system. Rollers are solid aluminum, silicone covered and set on 2” centers.

SZ Shrink Tunnels

The SZ Series of ‘single zone’ shrink tunnels can be used on their own or with our SMC and APS-X L Bar Sealers, our B Series Tray Wrappers & Bundlers, or our FS Series Horizontal Shrink Wrappers.

The SZ Series are offered in three different widths: 24”, 34” or 44”. All SZ Shrink tunnels are 42” long. All SZ shrink tunnels are 12” tall, with the option of increasing the tunnel height in 4” increments.

The SZ series is supplied with your choice of the following tunnel conveyor:

  • Live Rollers for polyolefin applications.
  • Dead Rollers for polyethylene applications.
  • Polymer Mesh Belt for small or unstable products.

The SZ Series can be supplied as 220, 440, or 575 volt, 3 phase. Note that stock machines are built to 220 volts, 3 phase (the SZ-24 is 220 volts, 1 phase).

A Variable Speed AC fan motor control is included as standard on all models to help you fine tune your shrink (this is an option on the SZ-24).

A tunnel window is an optional upgrade.

ACT 4015 EL DUAL BLOWER SHRINK TUNNEL

  • Available with a stainless Steel Mesh Belt.
  • Can be ordered with an optional cooling chamber (as shown) or without.
  • The conveyor uses sealed ball bearings and the conveyor chains run on steel tracks.
  • Conveyor drive is 3/4 H.P. A.C. motor through a right angle gear reducer, Variable Frequency Speed Control.
  • Blower motors are 1 H.P. 3 phase A.C.
  • Cast Aluminum circulating fan mounted on 1" sealed ball bearings.
  • Constructed with a tubular steel frame and heavy gauge sheet metal enclosures.
